Tucked among towering pines on the shores of Suttle Lake, The Suttle Lodge is the kind of place that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. This beloved Central Oregon retreat pairs rustic, woodsy charm with thoughtful comforts—creating the perfect home base for a few memorable days of quilting, connection, great food, and Oregon adventure.
Our group will have accommodations across the historic Main Lodge and cozy cabins, with several room types available depending on how much privacy—and togetherness—you prefer. No matter which you choose, you’ll be part of the same retreat experience, with plenty of shared spaces to gather, sew, eat, laugh, and unwind.

Private King Room - Main Lodge
Retreat: $3,490 / person
For guests who value a little extra privacy, this is our most comfortable and independent option. You’ll have a private room with a king bed in the historic Main Lodge, putting you right at the heart of Suttle Lodge and Sewing Room while still giving you your own quiet space to retreat to at the end of the day.
A great choice if you’re coming solo, appreciate having your own room, or simply want to make the weekend feel like a true getaway.
Best for: Solo guests who prioritize privacy and comfort.
Traveling with a group of 3–4 friends? This room can also be configured with two queen beds and two twin beds, creating a fun, more affordable option for a group that’s happy to share a room. Space for this configuration is limited, so please contact me as soon as possible for additional details and group pricing if you’re interested.
Queen Bed in a Shared Room - Main Lodge
Retreat: $2,970 / person
A comfortable and social option for guests who don’t mind sharing their space. You’ll have your own queen bed in a room shared with one other retreat participant, so you’ll have a full-size sleeping space of your own while enjoying the camaraderie—and savings—of a shared room.
These rooms are located in the Main Lodge, keeping you close to the heart of the property and the Sewing Room. The beds are on separate floors, so you still have your own space to decompress.
If you’re attending on your own, this is a wonderful way to meet another participant while still having your own bed.
Best for: Solo attendees who are happy to have a roommate but want their own queen bed and semi-private space.
Shared King Bed - Main Lodge
Retreat: $2,495/ person
Share a cozy king-bed room in the Main Lodge with a friend, sister, partner, or other retreat attendee you already know. You’ll enjoy the same central Lodge location at a lower retreat price by sharing both the room and king bed.
Please note: This option is only available to two participants who know one another and mutually request to share a king bed. We will never match two individual guests into this room type.
Best for: Friends or family members who are comfortable sharing a bed and want to stay right in the Main Lodge.
Queen Bed in a Shared Room — Deluxe Cabin
Retreat: $2,690 / person
Settle into the full Suttle Lodge cabin experience. You’ll have your own queen bed in a bedroom shared with one other retreat participant, all within one of the property’s spacious Deluxe Cabins.
Beyond your bedroom, you’ll have plenty of room to relax. The Deluxe Cabins feature comfortable shared living areas, a full kitchen, fireplace, and outdoor deck, giving your small group its own cozy gathering place throughout the retreat. Think morning coffee in the cabin, conversations around the fireplace, and a quiet glass of wine on the deck at the end of the day.
You’ll share the bedroom, bathroom, and cabin common areas. Come with a friend and request to room together, or come on your own and we’ll thoughtfully pair you with another retreat participant.
Best for: Guests who are comfortable sharing a bedroom and want the extra amenities, space, and camaraderie that come with staying in a Deluxe Cabin.
Private Queen Room — Shared Deluxe Cabin
Retreat: $3,190 / person
Enjoy your own private queen bedroom while sharing one of Suttle Lodge’s spacious Deluxe Cabins with a small group of fellow retreat guests. It’s a great option if you want privacy at the end of the day while still enjoying the fun and connection of a shared cabin.
The Deluxe Cabins give you more room to settle in and make yourself at home, with comfortable shared living spaces, a full kitchen, fireplace, and outdoor deck surrounded by the beauty of the Deschutes National Forest. It’s an inviting place to enjoy a morning coffee, relax with your cabinmates, or wind down with a glass of Oregon wine after a full day of quilting and exploring.
You’ll have your own private bedroom with a queen bed, while the cabin’s bathroom and common spaces are shared with your cabinmates.
Best for: Guests who want the privacy of their own bedroom along with the extra space, amenities, and social atmosphere of a Deluxe Cabin.
Private King Room — The Gathering Cabin
Retreat: $2,990/ person
This is a unique option for someone who wants a private king bedroom at a lower price point and enjoys being close to the action.
Your private bedroom is located inside the cabin that will serve as one of our retreat’s primary gathering spaces, including group meals and social time. That means you’ll have an incredibly convenient home base—but this cabin will also be livelier than our other accommodations, particularly in the mornings and around meal times.
Your bedroom is completely private, while the bathroom is shared and accessible to the group during gathering times.
If you’re the type who would rather be in the middle of things than tucked away from them, this could be the perfect room.
Best for: Social guests who want a private king bedroom, love being at the center of the retreat, and don’t mind activity happening just outside their door.
